Live Audio

Live audio for theatre begins long before the first rehearsal. We design microphone layouts, system configurations, and signal flow based on the cast size, performance space, and production timeline. This preparation allows us to build audio systems that are clear, balanced, and easy to operate, even when rehearsal time is limited or performers are new to wearing microphones.

During implementation, we focus on consistent, reliable operation throughout rehearsals and performances. Levels are carefully set, cues are rehearsed, and systems are monitored to ensure dialogue and music are always intelligible. We also take time to explain how the system works to staff and volunteers, helping productions feel confident and supported from tech week through closing night.
